Education and Experience

Jason Winton is a native of Memphis, Tennessee. After graduating from The University of Memphis, Mr. Winton worked as a commercial litigation paralegal in Memphis until he entered law school at Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas in 2009. While at Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Mr. Winton participated in the Criminal Legal Clinic. As a student worker, he represented criminal defendants in Harris County and participated in community events to help past offenders seal their criminal records. After graduation, Mr. Winton co-founded The Winton Law Firm, P.L.L.C. Mr. Winton has dedicated the bulk of his practice of law to resolving civil disputes and defending people accused of criminal offenses. Mr. Winton has never been employed as a district attorney, prosecutor, police officer, probation officer, parole officer or correctional officer.

Mr. Winton is married to Tecee Winton. He is a basketball enthusiast and enjoys the outdoors.
